( a photograph of my left eye )Today, all six of us drove into the city and had eye examinations. I have recently been invited into the privileged group of the insured. There are all sorts of wonderful things awaiting the members at a mere 20% of the price offered to mortals.
After all the Christmas feasting has subsided, I think I'll need a reduction of some other kind.

Same here -- today we accomplished the autumn yard cleanup that's been impossible to do because of the nasty weather we had in Nov and Dec -- and because we worked together it all got done. It took 4 of us 3 hours. 12 hours total may sound like a lot but we live on 1/3 acre and have *19* mature deciduous trees, some close to 30' tall (one more like 40')so the sheer volume of leaves was only the start. Tomorrow we get to fix the fences the wind and falling branches made mincemeat of.
