2 to the power of 1 = 2

"Mr. H.? My sister said that you said that you believe in gays...is that true?"

"If by 'belief' you mean do I think that everyone has the right to love anyone they want to love and that everyone's sex life is their own business, then , yes, I do believe in gays."

Honestly...just because I stop believing in Santa Claus, doesn't mean that I stop believing in EVERYTHING!

But do you believe in the Great Pumpkin? (I belive more in the lesser squash personally, especially with butter and parmesan.)

Mmmmmm....squash! We have a large gifted supply of South African squashes in our kitchen right now, and tapas is tomorrow...sounds like I have a plan.

And I've never heard of the Great Pumpkin. Is it similar to Russell's Celestial Teapot?

I do too..

GAY:
>Showing or characterized by cheerfulness and lighthearted excitement; merry.
>Bright or lively, especially in color: a gay, sunny room.
>Given to social pleasures.

Given that our gene pool has consistently produced this orientation in 5% of the human population (and this has been happening long before the great Dinosaur-Caveman Wars that Home Schoolers learn about)
I'd say that we can now safely refer to it as a fact of life.

Glad to see you out & about Mr. H.

You've never heard of the Great Pumpkin? That is so very sad.

(It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!)
