Amazing. It reminds me of the first time I saw Don Ross or Martin Simpson at The Fest, I couldn't believe those sounds were made with 2 hands and 1 guitar. -Heather
I've never heard of him, but his style reminds me of kaki king, who also uses open tunings and does combination picking and percussion on her guitar. It's a cool technique! This song really is beautiful!
Thanks for your New year's wishes... I hope you and your family enjoy peace and prosperity this year:>
Rather than respond to comments on my blog I thought I'd drop by yours (a day late) and wish you and all the Hildebrand clan good things in 2007. Happy New Year and thanks for your friendship in 2006.

WOW. Beautiful and poetic.
And how I love a man who refuses to compromise. Why does he have to choose between guitar and drums when he can be his own one-man band?
Wow
Part of me wants to join you in those lessons, and another part of me says, just sit back and enjoy the gifts that others have been graced with.

Lovely!
Wow....I was so amazed I called hubby and son over to watch the video again with me. He is amazing and no, I've never heard of him before.
Makes me want to learn to play one of the eight or so guitars we have here in the house. Hubby and son and daughter play....but not me.
Happy New Year, Brian. Hope it's filled with music, peaceful reflection and beautiful joyful things x

Wow indeed!
Reminds me of Martin Taylor - he's another of whom only when you've seen him live can you truly believe it's just one man, one guitar, no overdubs.
Wow - that's beautiful! Thank you for introducing him to me.
Never heard of him Brian but he's amazing...I love the beat and the notes together, of course, but also love the way he's so focused.
Great stuff.
